Experience Postgrad Life Sciences

Enhancing diversity among life scientists of the future

Applications for the 2023 Experience Postgrad Life Sciences programme are now closed.

Experience Postgrad Life Sciences offers paid 8-week research internships, in partnership with Corpus Christi College, to UK and Republic of Ireland residents who are studying at a UK or Republic of Ireland university for their undergraduate bachelor degree and are in their penultimate year of study. The programme in 2023 will run from Monday 10th July until Friday 1st September.

This is a fantastic, financially compensated and supportive, opportunity for talented students who might not otherwise feel they can easily access summer research opportunities to:

  • get hands on lab-based experience;
  • develop a range of skills;
  • meet fellow interns, postgraduate students and research staff; and
  • learn more about how to prepare a postgraduate application.

All within a progressive and nurturing environment.

This scheme aims to widen participation at the University of Cambridge, by using positive action under the Equality Act 2010, where appropriate, to tackle the underrepresentation of certain groups. See our eligibility criteria for more details.
