Experience Postgrad Life Sciences Summer Programme 2025

  • We welcomed the fifth cohort of the Experience Postgrad Life Sciences programme in July 2025. Accommodation was again generously provided by Corpus Christi College and the summer students worked in research labs and projects across the Schools of Biological Sciences and Clinical Medicine.
  • As well as completing their 8-week lab projects, the participants attended additional skills training seminars each week including Visual Data Communication skills, careers discussions and interview coaching as well as how to write and present research papers.
  • The summer students were supported by a group of PhD student mentors studying at Corpus Christi. The mentors provided peer support, helped the interns navigate postgraduate life, and arranged social activities for the group.
  • The programme culminated in a full-day, in-person symposium where all summer students gave a short presentation on their research project.
